Driving Innovation through Advanced R&D Solutions
EVC – Electronic Volume Corrector is used to calculate the Corrected volume of gas that has passed through the gas flow meter. Electronic volume correctors take the incoming pulse signal from a gas meter and also record the local pressure and temperature and then different algorithms are applied (S-GERG88, AGA8, NX-19 etc.) for calculation of the compressibility to calculate the Corrected volume of gas that has passed through the gas flow meter. Hardware is designed for a potentially explosive environment in ATEX ZONE 0, 1 and 2. To comply with ATEX we have to make sure that it cannot be a source of ignition as this will be in an area where the Gas is always present and could lead to an explosion.
The following are the features of the device:
Communication:
Inputs / Outputs:
Isolated RS232/RS485 Interface – Ensures secure and reliable communication, crucial for data exchange within hazardous industrial environments.
Integrated Modem (GSM, GPRS, 4G LTE) – Provides versatile connectivity options to facilitate real-time monitoring and efficient data transmission from remote locations.
Optical UART Interface through Optical Head – Allows for direct, onsite data communications without electrical interference.
